Christmas is a time for kindness, connection, and a little bit of magic โ and this year, we wanted to share that feeling in a small but meaningful way. Instead of store-bought treats or disposable trinkets, we decided to create something special for our kids to give to their classmates on the last day of school before the Christmas holidays.
In total, we made 50 individualย Christmas goodie bags for the two different classes, our children were in. Each bag was thoughtfully put together, personalised, and designed to be reused well beyond the festive season. The bags themselves were made from a Calico material, finished with a drawstring top, and decorated with a seasonal touch. Every bag had the childโs name on it, making each one feel personal and special โ not just another end-of-year giveaway.
Being mindful of waste was important to us, so choosing a reusable and eco-friendly bag felt like the right fit. Whether theyโre used again for toys, treasures, or school bits and pieces, we loved the idea that these bags could have a life long after Christmas Day.
Inside each bag were four of our Christmas flexi characters, freshly printed and full of festive charm. Each student received:
-
A cheerful Santa
-
A festive Reindeer
-
A classic Gingerbread person
-
A friendly Elf
All four characters are fully articulated, fun to fidget with, and designed to be handled, played with, and enjoyed. These werenโt โlook but donโt touchโ gifts โ they were made to be moved, posed, and explored.

On the final day of school, our kids handed out the bags to their classmates, and the response was everything we could have hoped for. There wereย big smiles, excited reactions, and plenty of instant play as kids compared characters and picked their favourites. The rest of the day was filled with festive energy, joyful chatter, and that wonderful end-of-term buzz that only Christmas can bring.
For us, the most rewarding part wasnโt just seeing the toys enjoyed โ it was watching our kids feel proud to give something thoughtful and handmade. It reinforced the idea that gifts donโt have to be big or expensive to be meaningful. Sometimes, itโs the care, creativity, and intention behind them that matters most.
Moments like this are a big part of why Tizmo Toys exists in the first place. We love creating things that spark imagination, encourage play, and bring people together โ whether thatโs through a single Wigglet, a mystery pack, or a classroom full of festive flexi characters.
After such a positive response, itโs also got us thinking. While nothing is planned just yet, weโre starting to explore the idea of custom goodie bags or party favours for things like birthday parties, school events, or special celebrations in the future. Thoughtful, reusable, and filled with fun โ much like these Christmas bags. If itโs something families would love, itโs definitely a direction weโre excited to learn more about.
For now, weโre simply grateful to have shared a little extra Christmas cheer โ and to have been part of so many happy, festive moments.
