Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Visa and Mastercard, as well as Afterpay.
If you’d prefer to pay via bank transfer, please get in touch before placing your order so we can make arrangements.

How do I redeem a coupon code?

During checkout, you’ll be prompted to enter your coupon code. Once applied, you’ll see the discount reflected in your total.
If your code doesn’t work, please get in touch with us via our contact page and we’ll help sort it out.

Orders

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes — as long as your order hasn’t been sent. Please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate any changes or issue a refund if needed.

What do the order status updates mean?
  • Processing: Your order has been received and we’re getting everything ready.
  • Completed: Your order has been packed and collected by the courier. You’ll receive a tracking number via email.
I have an urgent request. Can you help?

Possibly! Contact us with your specific needs and timeline and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

What can cause delays with my order?

While we aim to dispatch quickly, delays can happen due to:

  • High order volumes (especially around holidays)
  • Courier disruptions or rural delivery zones
  • Missing or incorrect order information
  • Payment processing delays

We always recommend ordering early if you’re buying for a special occasion or gift.

Can I send an order as a gift?

Absolutely! While we don’t currently offer gift wrapping, all items are securely packaged and invoices are sent digitally, not included in the parcel. You can also leave us a note at checkout if you’d like to include a short message with your order.

Do you offer bulk discounts or wholesale pricing?

We don’t offer wholesale at the moment, but we may in future. If you're planning a large order (e.g., party favours or school events), feel free to reach out and we’ll see what we can do.

Delivery

What are your shipping options?

We primarily use CourierPost (NZ Post) for reliable, tracked delivery throughout New Zealand. We also offer local pickup in Ashburton.
International shipping is not currently offered at checkout, but if you’re overseas, please contact us for a custom quote.

How much is shipping?

How long will my order take to get to me?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–3 business days, and delivery usually takes an additional 1–3 working days depending on your location.
Rural addresses may take slightly longer. Please allow extra time during peak seasons such as Christmas.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes! If you're based in Ashburton, simply use the code PICKUP at checkout to remove the shipping cost. Once your order is placed, please email us at hello@tizmotoys.co.nz to arrange a convenient time to collect it.

Can I track my order?

Absolutely. You’ll receive a tracking link via email once your parcel has been packaged and collected by the courier.

Where do you ship from?

All Tizmo Toys are 3D printed, packed, and shipped from our home studio in Ashburton, New Zealand.

Do you offer overnight shipping?

We use overnight courier bags for most shipments, but delivery timeframes can still vary depending on your location and courier volumes. Large bulky orders will be sent on CourierPost Economy. We’ll do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible!

Products & Materials

What are your toys made from?

All our toys are 3D printed using high-quality, durable PLA filament. PLA is a plant-based plastic derived from corn starch, and it's known for being lightweight, sturdy, and biodegradable under industrial composting conditions.

Are your toys safe for children?

Our toys are intended for ages 3 and up, as small parts may pose a choking hazard. We do not recommend our products for children under the age of 3. Please always supervise young children during play.

Do you take custom orders or commissions?

Yes — we're open to custom orders and personalised product ideas! If you have something specific in mind or would like to tweak an existing design, please contact us to discuss the possibilities. We’d love to hear your ideas!

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes! We use compostable courier bags from NZ company R3Pack, recyclable cardboard boxes for extra protection, and paper wrapping inside the box — all plastic-free and eco-conscious.

Will the colour I see on screen match the toy I receive?

We do our best to accurately photograph and describe our colours, but due to screen settings and the nature of filament batches, there may be slight variations.

How do I care for my 3D printed toy?

While PLA is strong, it’s best to keep your toy away from high heat (like car dashboards or direct sunlight) and avoid soaking in water. A
damp cloth is perfect for cleaning.
